Project Overview

FoodAid is a donation platform by Chaldal, a leading grocery e-commerce company in Bangladesh, in partnership with USAID. The platform was created to provide a seamless way for individuals to donate towards feeding families and supporting vulnerable communities.

As the UI/UX Designer, I designed the platform with the goal of making the donation process intuitive, trustworthy, and impactful, while maintaining Chaldal’s brand identity and USAID’s credibility.

Objectives

  • Build a user-friendly platform where visitors can easily donate.
  • Showcase transparency and trust by highlighting impact metrics (e.g., cost of feeding families, reach of donations).
  • Ensure the brand story and mission are clearly communicated.
  • Design a responsive interface that works across devices.

Design Highlights

  • Clear CTAs: Donate and Ask for Aid.
  • Impact statistics and pre-set donation tiers (e.g., ৳708 feeds one person for 2 weeks).
  • Real beneficiary images to evoke empathy.
  • Mission & Vision sections to reinforce trust.

Outcome

A responsive, user-friendly platform that makes donating quick, transparent, and impactful, strengthening Chaldal’s role in humanitarian support.
